it's kinda both honestly. My goal with writing it was to harken back to the early days off creepypasta. the overdone tropes were intentionally put in, but there might also have been some tropes I unknowingly added. My ultimate goal was to eventually get a lost episode remake of the story, as it was outlined...I currently don't have the equipment or the skills to do it myself, so I hoped it would gain popularity as a semi-ironic callback to the old school days of the internet.
